  In order to reserve a puppy a $100. non refundable deposit is required.  The final payment  must be made by U.S. Postal money order, PayPal (add 4%), cashiers check or cash.  The remainder of the payment must be made in full before the puppy will be shipped or picked up.  All puppies are sold as pets with limited AKC registration.  Occasionally puppies may be sold with full AKC registration, however a prior agreement must be made with Roper’s Dachshunds or the puppy will be sold with limited AKC registration.  

  All guarantees are limited to the original buyer.  Under no circumstances will any guarantee be transferred to any third party.  Buyer must have the purchased puppy examined by their vet within 72 hours of delivery in order to validate the health guarantee.  Failure to have puppy examined within 72 hours voids any and all health guarantees.  The vet exam will be done at the buyers expense. 

  Roper’s Dachshunds guarantees the puppy to be free from genetic defects that prevent the puppy from living a normal life as a pet for 12 months from it’s birth.  Should such a defect be found, buyer must send a written report from their licensed veterinarian stating the condition found, at their expense. 

  Roper’s Dachshunds reserves the right to choose between replacing the puppy with an appropriate similar puppy or making a refund.  In most cases the puppy will be replaced, however there may be cases where that can not be done in a timely manner and in such a situation we may choose to refund the cost of the puppy less the deposit.  Before any replacement will be made, all puppy paperwork must be returned to Roper’s Dachshunds.  At Roper’s Dachshunds discretion, buyer may be required to return the puppy.   Shipping on the replacement puppy will be split between Roper’s Dachshunds and the buyer.

  Roper’s Dachshunds is not responsible for any incurred veterinary expenses.  We do NOT guarantee against:  coccidiosis, giardia, parasites, mites, fleas or ticks.  These conditions are found almost everywhere and are easily treatable.  We work under the direction of our veterinarian and give all age appropriate shots and dewormings.   We do not guarantee against parvo, viral or bacterial infections, alopecia in dilutes, or hypoglycemia. We do not under any circumstances guarantee any type of back problems.  We guarantee that we will make every possible effort to ensure that all puppies are in good health at the time of purchase.

  All puppies are sold as pets.  Roper’s Dachshunds gives no guarantees as to size, weight, color, or breeding ability of any puppy or dog sold, even those with full AKC registration.  We can tell you what size we expect the puppy to be as an adult, however there are so many conditions involved it is impossible to make a guarantee on size or weight.
